About the event

Alt  Women Paradise was created as a night for women in alternative pop  music to come together, showcase their talents, bring together women in  music and meet new people. This is a safe space for expression and  appreciation for one another.

We have an amazing line-up of women  in music at a gorgeous venue in east London - LOVE SHACK. Our last 2  nights have gone off with a bang having incredible feedback from punters  saying our night was "a breath of fresh air for the London music scene"

Please take a look at our electic Line-up for the  night, please go show your support by listening to their music and  following their individual journeys on social media:

“Atmospheric and immersive sound that packs a really unique edge” CLOUT.

London  based electro-pop singer/songwriter Alice Jayne leads her vision from  having to push through modern life whilst facing trauma head on.  Disabled artist Alice Jayne found song writing her crux after her  diagnosis of MS in 2021.

She is here to show you that freedom is your birth right and to remind people that “there is always light within the dark”

Her  influences are vast; coming from an old school soul/blues and  Rockabilly background, with influences from current artists such as  BANKS, Blouse, Tove Lo and CHVRCHES her sound packs a vibrant unique  twist and is sure to only grow.

“In the case of ‘The High  Priestess’ – the bucolic and choral sound that she builds with her vocal  harmonies, evidence of how good her voice is” MESMERISED

Saff  Juno is an independent artist, aiming to create a safe space in the  community around her music, where all feelings are celebrated. Self-love  and mental health are the main themes of her catchy, cathartic songs.  As well as playing with her dynamic 4-piece indie-pop/rock band, Saff  also loves playing acoustic too, as it really allows her to connect with  her roots of songwriting and create an intimate atmosphere with her  audience.

FFO Wolf Alice, AURORA, beabadoobee, and Jeff Buckley.

Serena  Mary is a London-based singer-songwriter and producer. Her music is  influenced by artists such as Ava Max, Anne-Marie, Lady Gaga and Dua  Lipa, infusing her music with infectious energy and relatable lyrics.  Hailing from a diverse musical background, she discovered her love for  music at a young age, and went on to perform at as many showcases as  possible. She honed her skills as a vocalist and songwriter, drawing  inspiration from her personal experiences and the world around her. She  is currently working on her EP ‘Journey of a Broken Heart’, which is set  to be released in September 2024. Fans can expect a collection of  heartfelt songs from this EP that will take them on a journey through  love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

Born  and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa as a second generation Greek  immigrant, Anastasía combines and celebrates both cultures and  identities in her music. Her sound is best described as alternative  electro-pop with dreamy theatrical melodies and unapologetic, off the  cuff yet pointed lyrics.

Meet Ciinema -  your new favourite dreamy alt-pop band. Think Little Dragon meets  Maggie Rogers meets FKJ. Hailing from New Zealand and based in London,  songwriters Liz Cameron and Lane Twigden are saying hello to the world  with their 2023 self-titled EP featuring vibrant, synth-heavy production  atop driving lofi beats and ambient electric guitar lines.

In  terms of musical ingredients: start with soft ethereal vocal melodies  reminiscent of Lizzy McAlpine/Phoebe Bridgers. Then, add colorful and  rhythmic Still Woozy/Tom Misch inspired guitar lines riffing off  auxiliary percussion. Lastly, sprinkle in dynamic shifts ranging from  intimate-chill to multi-layered atmospheric electro-pop swells.

Thematically,  Ciinema’s songs are a kind of ode to youth and imagination. The  six-track “Ciinema” EP tells stories of ambiguous power plays of love  and sex as well as finding your voice in what has recently felt like a  strange global landscape. The EP is also accompanied by a music video  for the song Planet Eyes: it's a spaced-out  daydream of galaxies and soft neon tones which hints toward a sultry  cinematic terrain where the listener can dive headfirst into a dreamy  alt-pop world.

This will be a night not to be missed

We  have a few different price options for concessions and those who can  pay a bit more to support our wonderful night and make sure these  artists get paid. You will also be able to pay on the door with the  price being increased slightly - please make sure you have cash for this
