About the event
✨ We are thrilled to welcome you within the walls of Loveshack for the second edition of LOOOM BONDS! ✨
Step into an evening of shared energy where tarot and crafts serve as vessels to unveil the mysteries of connection. A fusion of laughter, whispers and the buzzing hum of creative energy will lead you through various sets of playful encounters with like minded souls to weave threads of interpersonal bonds with shared stories and collaborative art.
Who are we?
We are a creative collective of people who love interacting and playing with others. We are ecofeminists and lovers of arts, crafts and anything magic related. We believe in the power of togetherness - affectionate and compassionate closeness.
Why did we create LOOOM BONDS?
This project is a direct result of our frustration with the lack of opportunities and spaces where people can create meaningful connections. We wanted to get to know others more organically and joyfully.
Who are our events for?
Our events are for all seekers of affection - people of all genders and sexualities who are interested in forming connections with others - be it romantic, sexual or platonic. We design our events with disabled and neurodivergent people in mind, aiming for our space to be open to all types of communication and relationship needs.
⚡️Accessibility Note: The venue has ramps through most parts of the premises. However, the DJ booth/Mezzanine and toilets are not yet accessible for wheelchair users. Their team has built the building by hand, so it is still a work in progress. Both LOOOM and Love Shack staff are very welcoming and always happy to help so do let us know if there's anything we can do to improve your experience. If you have any access needs or questions please email us on: looomcollab@gmail.com
⚡️Free Space Policy: To ensure this is a safe and enjoyable experience for everybody, we implement a “Free Space”, inspired by the concept of “safe(r) spaces”, by creating events free of any type of discrimination, harassment and hostility, where people can feel free to come as they are, and move as they like.
To that end, you can always rely on us to provide whichever help and support may be needed, but we also rely on your collective responsibility and accountability:
- If at any point you feel uncomfortable, overwhelmed or unsafe, or if you have any kind of accessibility requirements, you can approach any member of our staff and we’ll be ready to help you out and/or accommodate any needs you might have.
- Watch out for your fellow attendees! Be mindful of the people around you, respect each other’s space, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you witness any kind of hostile behaviour or if you see someone struggling with any type of situation.
Tarot ExchangesLet tarot and the power of intuition reveal the answers you have been seeking to know about you, or better yet…the person sitting right in front of you! Think of it as a quick round of first soul impressions.Intimate CraftsLet's use our senses to see ourselves through other people's eyes. Have you ever wondered, what colour is my voice? Am I perceived as an elegant straight line or a curvy infinity thread? If my name were a shape, what would it be?Drink, Dance and MingleNow that you've gathered the sketches of the ones around you, it's time to move and weave your threads a bit tighter…
